This is my third model of the year to date so far, my Hasegawa Subaru Legacy RS.

Just a quick out of the box build for this one which turned out to be a bit disappointing as I had a few build issues such as the window tub not fitting into the body shell properly and a few issues with the suspension setup and to make matters worse, the clear red paint ran on the light bar and ruined the look; but that was most likely my own fault.

The body was painted in Tamiya mica blue metallic and the wheels were painted with Tamiya gold instead of the chrome to give the car the classic Subaru look.

After fitting some KFS number plates and a tax disc, the model was complete; from start to finish, this one took me just over 2 weeks to complete, a personal record for me!!

Even though I am not 100% happy with this build, I thought that I would share this one with you and as always, all thoughts and comments are welcomed and thanks for looking.

Thanks for your comments Shelby, some people fail to realise that the Legacy was the predecessor to the Impreza and as you quite rightly state,is often the unloved Subaru.

Nice model. Back when Subaru was a little less conspicuous. I think that rear window wiper was a Japanese only addition? US versions (except wagons, which I had a '92 and have a 2000) don't have that.

Cool.

Many thanks for all your comments guys , very much appreciated.

Foxer, I love your Legacy wagons, you certainly did a good job on them, very impressive.

looks good. as an suggestion, why not just paint that panel that clear red dripped into full clear red. it should work better than the drip. Hasegawa is a better plane model maker, I always find some minor issues with their car kit that throws the model off. Also quite often have fit issues with them too. My favorite is still tamiya.
