'68 Fury NJSP, Saved From A Dumpster

Recommended Posts

This was saved from a Dumpster by a co-worker. I built it to replicate what such a car might have looked like as used by the New Jersey State Police. Yeah, I know the Troopers largely used Fords back then. Basically box-stock, I was fortunate to have most of a Jo-Han Fury kit in my styrene junkyard to complete it. I've included both "before" and "after" photos.

I love this car! Great job! And who in their right mind would just trash something like this? Thanks for saving it!

Nice save, anyone who throws a good model away needs a good firm talking to.

It looks great as a cop car, I'm glad you saved it.

Agreed on all counts.

Great job!
