This is a Johan snap kit. I didn't even know they were made until I got it in a trade. Didn't really do anything except paint it in Duplicolor dark cherry metallic with a 2 part urethane clearcoat. Oh. I changed the wheel - I didn't like the kit hubcaps.

Thank you, Anne. It's a junkyard dog and eats people for lunch. No water because he thrives on his victims' blood. Just kidding. That guy is 1 of 3 that my friend Bartster sent me. I change them out every so often.

When are you coming to FLA? I'll get the wood and you do the work. Bring the kids and take them to DisneyWorld. Better yet - drop them off and do more work in my hobby room.

Nice looking Olds Jim ! Looks good painted that color and the wheels are perfect .

I hated that body style when they came out in '73 , now I think they look pretty sharp ! Must be an age thing .

Good looking Olds.............I think you actually built a replica stock by chance...........that color is just about a dead ringer for '75 Olds Cranberry metallic!!

Thanks very much, guys. Don't know about the color, Al. it's just one of the cans I got on sale at Advanced Auto last month.

Those aren't Cragar's, Ron. Just some GM wheels out of the parts bin.

Looks good! Sure brings back memories- when I was real little (well, as little as I could be lol) my dad had one that he bought for a dollar because it didn't run. It just needed a coil! It was brown and earned the nickname "Poop Brown" LOL
