bryan_m Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 killer work on the rollbar, the padding and ties look really good. cheers bryan
Bluemiles22 Posted January 30, 2014 Author Posted January 30, 2014 Thanks guys! Got a little further on the interior, added some photo etch racing seat belts. Dunno if I'm all that happy with the way they came out, I fought it every step of the way and only got one seat done so far lol. Thanks for looking, I'll have more updates soon.
Bluemiles22 Posted January 30, 2014 Author Posted January 30, 2014 Quick shot of the body sitting on the frame
Stretch75 Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 I think the seat belts turned out great! This whole build is looking good!
Skypower Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 I love this build your paint looks awesome. You have given me some ideas to use in my build, I may use aluminum rod for my shocks next time instead of styrene rod. Looks killer.
tyrone Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 This is turning out to be a really nice build... seatbelts look good to me.. keep the updates coming....
Bluemiles22 Posted January 30, 2014 Author Posted January 30, 2014 Guys thanks so much for the compliments! Very much appreciated, if the belts look good to you that works for me. This one should be getting finished pretty soon. Just have to get the engine in the car and it should be good to go.
brett Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Fantastic job so far Rich, cant wait to see it all together
Bluemiles22 Posted January 31, 2014 Author Posted January 31, 2014 Thank you guys! It's the revell yenko kit but with some modification and slixx decals
gtx6970 Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 OH my, OOOOOH my. Looking real good so far. I've got this exact same car on my short list to do
gtx6970 Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 ps, I gotta ask. I looks as thought this build is 4 speed In the interior pics I have of this car it shows 4 speed pedals but appears to be an auto shifter . ??????
Bluemiles22 Posted February 3, 2014 Author Posted February 3, 2014 I'm not really sure if it's four speed or not, I don't know how to tell the difference lol. But as far as the shifter goes I just ordered one from future attraction specifically for this build so once that arrives I'll continue on the interior. I got a little bit further with just a few small things. I'm gonna be putting a chute on the back so I used one from pro tech, and I put the distributor in but didn't wire it up yet, distributor is from MAD.
GoatGuy Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 A great build so far. The chute detail looks good. I see a tiny decal on the valve cover. Looks good. I know tiny ones like that can be a challenge.
Bluemiles22 Posted February 4, 2014 Author Posted February 4, 2014 Ok just got this in the mail, parts look phenomenal I will definitely be ordering more from future attraction.
Dragfreak Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 I've built a couple of the B&M Pro Stick Kits from him and they go together beautifully.
am73grand Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Love this project. Looks fantastic so far!!!!
Bluemiles22 Posted February 24, 2014 Author Posted February 24, 2014 Thanks guys, hopefully today I can get some more done on this build, been having a hard time with the photo etch belts popping off the seats.
crowe-t Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Rich, Excellent work so far! I really like the paint job! BTW, what brand and type of paint is the Candy Red? Mike.
Bluemiles22 Posted February 27, 2014 Author Posted February 27, 2014 Thanks mike, the candy red is testors enamel, the gold base coat is also testors but I'm pretty sure I used the one coat laquer for that, and the clear coat is also testors laquer
slusher Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Great work so far, beautiful paint and detail..
