Tom Geiger Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Eastern Pennsylvania... It will hit 82 tomorrow! Was supposed to rain all week, instead we got a couple showers, enough that I could skip moving mulch. Tomorrow will be a mulch day!
Rob Hall Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Back in the low 100s here..got in the pool last night..the water is still a bit cold for me (79 degrees) , but if there is any upside to the heat of the next 4 months or so, it's that I can get in a lot of pool time...
Rob Hall Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 supposed to hit 108 here today. Ouch..desert area? I was over in Fontana and Palm Springs last September, was warmer than here in Phoenix...
Quick GMC Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 I'm in Palm Springs. I've lived in Florida, been to Phoenix, Death Valley, multiple parts of Texas all in the summer and I think Palm Springs is one of the hottest parts on the planet in the summer. What most people think is it's a dry heat. Not anymore. For the past ten years humidity has been rising Last year, two days in a row, it was 118 with 70%+ humidity. It's brutal.
blunc Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 A gorgeous, sunny 83 degrees. it's dark, the moon is up and it's 83deg.
uncle potts Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 Two weeks ago there was snow on the ground, yesterday it was 104. Today, it was 81, Iowa, go figure.
