martinfan5 Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Finished this one up as well, not much to say about it really, I used Scale Finishes Gulf Oragne , I used carbon fiber decals on the wing, and on the front piece's in front of the front tires ( I have no idea what to call them)

Eric N. Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Super cool.I like any... Opps, I almost called that a Ferrari. Love it. Eric
martinfan5 Posted May 20, 2013 Author Posted May 20, 2013 Nice. What makes it a fax machine? Multi-sheet feeder? Jeremy Clarkson from TopGear calls it a fax a machine
Danno Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Jeremy Clarkson from TopGear calls it a fax a machine So that makes it a fax machine?
martinfan5 Posted May 20, 2013 Author Posted May 20, 2013 (edited) So that makes it a fax machine? No, it is not, the slang term fax machine is Jeremy Clarkson making fun of the name Mclaren gave this car, basically, MP4-12C is something that would be used for say, a fax machine name, and not a car, thats all it is, just making fun of the name Edited May 20, 2013 by martinfan5

Austin T Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 I really like yours, I wish that they would have made a street version of this kit.
Chris White Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 not my kinda kit. but hard to deny quality of work. Nice job
TheRX7Project Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Those would probably classify as "splitters" just FYI And yes, the car looks amazing!
Kennyboy Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Very clean build. Love the Clarkson "Fax Machine" reference.
sjordan2 Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 I'm guessing Jonathan's question is about the things at the front refers to the louvers in front of the front wheels. I don't know what they're called either. The splitter would be the horizontal plate under the nose. http://www.aprperformance.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=174
DrKerry Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Those would probably classify as "splitters" just FYI And yes, the car looks amazing! Splitters? Or where the paper comes out??? Ok, bad joke. Sweet build though, car looks awesome.!!!!!
glenn Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Nice build, the liitle wings/splitters in front of the wheels are called "canards"
