I am ever-appreciative of all who have served. My brother, Maj. Derek Enz, is currently enjoying the local hospitality of Afghanistan compliments of the United States Army. He, like all in the armed forces, make it possible for me to remain a lazy civilian.

First off to any and all vets. I thank you for your service. To the families of lost service men my heart goes out to you. I want to thank my Uncles who died in the baatan death march and are buried over seas also my dad brother and many uncles and a couple aunts and cousins for your duty protecting our freedom in this great country.

Memorial Day is set aside to honor the memories of those who have fallen in the name of freedom and in service to Country. Let us not forget the blood cost for what we take for granted. My brothers, sisters, and forbearers laid down their lives for a principle they believed in, for a Constitution worth fighting for. I honor the memory of our fallen on this day, and pray for the families they have left behind.
