VW Beetle

Saw this pic on Facebook and decided to build one similar to this one. My first time building a roll cage it's still to finished, but it's a start. Rims are from the Testors Porsche 911 kit. Resin racing seats, fuel cell, and other goodies will go in this.

Gettin started on the engine. As much as I love Bugs, mechanics is where I am lost on these suckers.

Not totally sure on paint color for the parts, so I kinda just did guess work here.

I screwed up the front bonnet, so I had a spare and in a last minute effort, painted it, but it's a bit off from the body color, so it makes it look a bit two toned .
