59 Impala Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 This is a 50 Ford truck that I got from one of the guys in our club. He wanted to do a custom and then had second thoughts about it and gave it to me. I used the front end and bed from the 4X4 F150. The cab is a Jimmy Flintstone resin, with the chopped top. Here is how it turned out. I have installed the FORD letters on the front of this just below the hood. I just don't have a pic of it with them on it yet. I made resin copy of the Ford name plate for the tail gate and I used 320 sandpaper for the step bumper. I used the Ardun heads and carbs on this build for more go power. I had a lot of fun building this truck. It is painted with Gold Pearl powder mixed in clear over white. I used the rest of the F150 parts that I had left over and made a half track out of it. Thanks fer lookin. Dan

Platerpants Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 looks good and cool. i think if you had some lightning cab skirts it would line the cab up better to the bed.
