smellyfatdude Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 (edited) This was another of my very early completed builds, from a few years ago. Six coats of Duplicolor Electric Blue metallic, four coats of clear lacquer, and after a good session with Micromesh the paint was as smooth as glass. Lemans blue on the interior, and I added ignition wires. The only flaw that really bugged me, was I forgot to paint the bottom of the interior tub! Edited June 5, 2013 by smellyfatdude
Danno Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Nice looking, Vette, SFDude. Don't feel like the Lone Ranger. Speaking as a judge in a lot of critically-judged contests, I can tell you . . . a lot of builders seem to forget that one step!
Monty Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 S.f.dude, what is the off-white, conical item located toward the back of the passenger side valve cover?
smellyfatdude Posted June 5, 2013 Author Posted June 5, 2013 S.f.dude, what is the off-white, conical item located toward the back of the passenger side valve cover? I have no idea, I'm afraid. Here's a 1:1 ' 69. Perhaps someone knows what exactly it is.
LOBBS Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 My all-time favorite year of Corvette and you did it justice. Good work.
ChrisPflug Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Mystery part is the vacuum motor for the troublesome early shark Vette hidden wipers, the whole cowl panel moves
