MrObsessive Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 So we're getting a '08 Challenger from Lindberg and Revell? That'll be great to see for comparos later.............Since Revell tagged theirs as an '08 and not a concept like Lindberg, I wonder if this is the production version of the car? Thanks for the heads up about the '55 Chevy hardtop.............I'm off to my LHS tomorrow!!
Zoom Zoom Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 So we're getting a '08 Challenger from Lindberg and Revell? That'll be great to see for comparos later.............Since Revell tagged theirs as an '08 and not a concept like Lindberg, I wonder if this is the production version of the car? Someone posted elsewhere that Revell's is the production version. Revell = production version 1/25, Lindberg = concept 1/24. The production version has a rear spoiler that the concept didn't have, and looks better. There are some good things on the list from both companies. Ever since seeing the '08 Viper I was hoping Revell would update theirs, but I see I don't need to worry. There's more coming next year than I could build in a year. AMT who?
Exotics_Builder Posted October 20, 2007 Author Posted October 20, 2007 OK, Here's some pictures of the Revell 69 Nova and 32 Ford Sedan:
Exotics_Builder Posted October 20, 2007 Author Posted October 20, 2007 More photos and info tomorrow, I have a club open house to get to
Zoom Zoom Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 Thanks for the pics! They models look great. Did you get any pics of the '70 Mach I?
Exotics_Builder Posted October 21, 2007 Author Posted October 21, 2007 I'll check on the Mach 1. Now for dinner. Our club open house got cancelled since we couldn't get into the building. Also, I did get an update from Revell, the 55 Chevy Hardtop is on the boat and almost here. It has not been distributed to the Hobby Shops yet. I misunderstood the reply earlier today. I'm glad the Revell guy is a club member and I was able to ask him some follow up questions.
MrObsessive Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 Lookin' mighty nice!! Hopefully they won't drag out the intro date into forever. This one should be a blockbuster for sure!
dub Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 WOW! The Deuce Sedan and the Nova both look absolutely in-freakin-credible! I could not be happier! I'm with Ken and Bill here! The Nova is beautiful and the Deuce, man I'm gonna have to buy TWO at first sight! I feel like a kid waiting for christmas again.
ronr Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 (edited) WOW! Thanks for the heads up. Now for my list, Dear Santa: 1-case `55 chevy 1-case `32 fords Cant wait for the Nova and `57. Edited October 21, 2007 by ronr
RJWood Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 (edited) The Nova is cool but the 32' Ford sedan is what I'm waiting for. Question, Is the Model King at the Ihobby Expo? If so, what can we expect from him? I would love to know what he has up his sleeve. Thanks, Ron Edited October 21, 2007 by RJWood
gasman Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 (edited) I see myself buying everything on that list. especially the Cutlass. Regal, Subie, 32 Ford and 69 Nova. already got plans for the Cutlass I know the kit won't be stock. but as long as its got a stock dash. I can take care of the rest Edited October 21, 2007 by gasman
