Watching some older shows on Netfix, man what a show. Adam 12, emergency and just about all of the early 70's T.V. shows have numerous cool cars cruising around in the back round. Saw a car lot full of muscle cars. Check it out pretty cool.

I watch those 2 on ME TV. Memorable Entertainment Television.

I don't have to limit myself to the Small screen of my PC.

But, It Is good to know they are up there so that at the time ME TV

drops them from the line-up, I can still watch!!

Though, I Do have Season 1 Adam-12 & 1,2, 3 & Movies of Emergency DVD's!!

Also the Rockford Files on METV. Lots of 70s big iron on the roads, Jim drove a Trans Am.

You also notice how many longroofs were on the road back then, not a minivan in sight!

MeTV rocks; about 50-60% of my viewing is that. There's another network I've watched a couple of times called COZI, which does a lot of 1970s-80s shows, too.

Either one is a big improvement over most of the overly-formulaic, brain-dead, tawdry garbage now called TV.

I like Retro TV too. Just Like ME TV!!

In Fact, I have had Retro longer than ME, and they used to have

Adam-12, Dragnet & Emergency on!

They are showing "Movin' On" on Retro Now. either 2PM or 3 PM

The Bad thing on Emergency is all the longroof's they Kill!!!!

Or at least appear to!!

I know the Chrysler wagon we see crashed is reused a few times. Always Crashed badly too!!!!

did Rockford actually drive a TA or was it just a Firebird?

Might have just been a Firebird, I wasn't paying that close attention I guess

I always got a kick out of the old show "The FBI". Everyone in the show drove a new Ford, except the bad guys. They always had some old heap that got wrecked in the show. Every time you'd see an old heap, you'd wait for the crash.

I used to see the old Hollywood "B" movie "Front Page" about breakfast time on AMC, back about 20 years ago. A typical "cops and robbers" movie, it wasn't very good (don't remember the cast, but I sure do remember the cars!):

The bank robbers drove a '35 or '36 Auburn sedan, the city police officer had a '36-'37 Cord 810 sedan, but the FBI had the ultimate! A Duesenberg Model J Phaeton!
