Antikainen Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 (edited) Hey! I´m glad that this forum is back on it´s feet again. Few finnish modelers had a group building challence and all had to build their own version of Revell ( Germany ) VW T3 kit. Last release of this model was a Westfalia Camper kit. I started with that Westy Camper kit and made few modifications: Any comments and questions are welcomed as always. Edited July 12, 2013 by Antikainen
PappyD340 Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 OUTSTANDING job Jarkko, excellent detail, I must say that's the first VW car hauler I've seen!
cobraman Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 That is a very cool build. Love the bug in the back.
GoatGuy Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 That looks great. Did the visor come with the kit? I like the different colors you used.
Albie D Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 This thing is, for the seventh time in this thread, very cool!! Great job building a terrific model, you nailed the whole dub-life vibe to a tee!
Antikainen Posted July 14, 2013 Author Posted July 14, 2013 Thanks for your kind words! The visor is scrachbuilt from piece of aluminium, it already had those louvers.
Skydime Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Absolutely amazing! And is that a cassette tape on the dash? I've seen a lot of interior accessories but, don't ever remember a cassette in a build.

I've seen a lot of interior accessories but, don't ever remember a cassette in a build. Yeah, there is 2 cassette tapes on the dash. They came from model car carage PE set containing strereo faces, ceedees and cassettes.
Tom Geiger Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Very cool build with a Euro flair we don't see here in the USA! I like it very much, especially your split window conversion on the Beetle.
