geetee66 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 I thought this was a 70, but I've since discovered it's a 69 with this grille. This is the Fast & Furious 70 Charger kit (A rebox of the General Lee kit...so I'm told) I bought it on eBay for £9. The kit blower is dreadful, so I bought a pewter blower and scoop. I added a toothed belt and alu pulleys. It has a little bit of photoetch under the hood and I flocked the interior red to connect to the accents on the engine and roll cage. Wheels are by Aoshima and the tyres are some of the best I've used. Excellent tread and true to scale sidewall detail. I hope you like it..
MikeyB08 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Looks really good!! Great engine detail and love the interior. Clean and simple. Great job!
realgone58 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Very cool. Great job on the engine comp. But you forgot to BMF your wheel lip moldings.
TooOld Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Whatever year it is it looks great ! Looks good in satin black and the detailing is excellent . Very nice .

Thanks for your comments everyone I got the wheels from HobbySearch in Japan as nobody seems to sell them in the UK.
Shelby 427 1965 Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 Looks great! Do you have any pics of the kit blower? I'm in need of one and if you ain't using it and don't mind.. Cheers

geetee66 Posted July 29, 2013 Author Posted July 29, 2013 Looks great! Do you have any pics of the kit blower? I'm in need of one and if you ain't using it and don't mind.. Cheers I'll take a pic for you. You'll need to do a little bit of work as I bought the kit and then found it had been kinda started. The blower scoop is in two parts and hasn't been glued very well. It'll need prising apart and reassembly. You are more than welcome to it. PM me your address and you can have it and the kit blower belt, too.
Shelby 427 1965 Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 Thanks man I don't need the blower belt, the car I'm replicating has a fake blower on the bonnet! But that's great, PM me a pic and I'll hit ya up
