The cuts you make in that printer plate are so precise and clean.I have yet to master working with that stuff except for making some small painted brackets.What method dor you use to keep it flat and make those neat corners?

The plate I have still has some sort a green finish on it that I can't get off easily.I would love to make a Hallock style windshield for my '21 Olds speedster from it id I can figure how to take down to the bare metal.Oven cleaner won't touch the stuff and sanding leaves it too scratched to work with.Any suggestions?

For the cuts, I usually cut oversized with either a scissors or by using multiple cuts with an Xacto and sand down the edges with an emory board using progressively smaller grain so they end up polished. I have a difficult time bending the thicker stuff but on the thinner stuff, I bend it over the edge of my metal ruler for a precise and crisp bend. That green stuff on the one side of the thicker material is a real bear to remove. i use  various attachments on my Dremel like the one for stripping paint. In most applications, rarely do both sides of the aluminum show, so that helps.

A bit of work done on this finally. Added another box and a pillow to the shelf in the wardrobe closet, no picture at this time. Now that the driver's side cabinet is complete, it got glued in place. Also made a soap dish for the bathroom/shower our of printing plate and evergreen.

OK the soap,........Irish Spring?

Wally's "plans" were actually more like suggestions with minimal dimensions for a basic trailer with the final details left up to the builder.

I have been stalled on this project because I just couldn't find any age appropriate tires. Well, I got the 1966 Ford Bronco kit for Christmas and I think those tires are going to work really well. I'll have to get back on this as all it needs now is my time.

Scenes Unlimited might have the tires you're looking for, I think the T47s would work best.
