Major Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 i think the orange and black look great. good work.
cobraman Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 Once you get that foiled it will look very nice !
jrherald420 Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 Once you get that foiled it will look very nice ! This, once the foil goes on it will bring it all together. I like it!!
Tom Kren Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 Nice job so far ! Does the paint go on flat /satin look?
cobain86 Posted August 6, 2013 Author Posted August 6, 2013 (edited) thanks!! if you spray the createx pearl color, it drys satin flat. i sprayed it with my evolution 2in1 and the 0,4 Nossle. No thinning! so here are the latest pictures so far. Now i have to Sand and Polish the car and put some Bare Metal Foil on it! The Color Reminds me of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Maybe i should bring a decal on it. Edited August 6, 2013 by cobain86
Albie D Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 I'd love to see that paint job under some good lighting. I'm sure it pops like crazy.
DR Dubois Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 The Createx Auto Air paints give you all the colors (opaque, semi-opaque, transparent and candy) and effects you could ever want for automotive paint but it's all waterbased! Goes on in a satin finish but really comes to life once you clear it (and it will take any type of clear!). Great stuff. I do all my custom airbrush work with this stuff. Albie it REALLY pops out in the sun.
b_lever1 Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Sweet very Sweet yes just like that peanut butter cup must need shade in the sunlight
kennb Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 like the colors a lot,,,,going to try them on my Camaro build....
rigbuilder Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Those are some very good looking colors together. I really like the way this is turning out. I might have to buy one of these kits, even tho I cannot stand convertibles. Your drop top is looking mighty fine there sir.
cobain86 Posted August 21, 2013 Author Posted August 21, 2013 so after a few bare metal foil sessions
