Here is my AMT 1955 Chevy l built back in 2006. The paint is Testors. Built box stock. l call it Wild and Blue after a country song l remember in the 80's. All comments welcome...

That is a sharp looking little truck Carl! I really like that color! What is it exactly? I like the wheels too. Much better than the kit wheels. The only thing I didn't like about this kit when I built it was the dropped front axle. The thing almost touches the ground. If I build another one, I'm going to add an A frame front suspension to it from a Nova or Camaro.

Roger when this truck was painted it was bright blue enamel by Testorsw but l just bought another can and its darker now so the closest thing to it is Testors racing blue 2940 and a great shade of blue and its enamel. Thanks Roger for the compliment.

Another great build Carl. I was always frustrated with these kits and how the front wheels always sit so far back in the wheel wells. I love your paint work.

The front wheels sit that far back on the 1:1.
