First off not sure where to put this question. Those of you who have used his site would you say his prices are inline with the market value when it comes to the vintage and classic kits? There is a kit he has that I'd like to pick up but if it is overpriced I'll keep looking. I understand that a kit is worth whatever a person is willing to pay for it. But ideally if his kits are on average a fair price I may buy a few others from that site.

Depends..I've only bought new kits from Model Roundup, for vintage kits, I go to eBay first...

Jack's prices on current kits are very competitive. His prices on most of his "vintage" kits are a little above what can be found at swap meets and ebay, there are a few at a fair price though. Customer service is always great with Jack. If you don't have any swap meets in your area check with other online retailers for the kit you're looking for and then check ebay, if you can't find it at a better price then you can buy from Jack.

l have been buying from Jack since 97 or 98. l have mostly bought newer kits and a few just out of production. lf l can't get it on ebay l would buy it from Jack. Great customer service...

I have done business with Jack for many years, all new kits, and some supplies too. And you have to consider that in all those years NEVER has there been a problem or delay. It's definitely a factor to consider.

And NO, Jack does not pay me to sing his praises.

Jack is the only on-line dealer I've bought from and the service is great. I've only bought current stuff though.

I buy about 75% of my kits (recent releases) and aftermarket stuff from Jack. On these items his prices are in line with the market if not slightly lower. On vintage plastic though, you'll probably do better on e-Bay, but not by much.

In terms of reliability and integrity, however, Jack can't be beat.

yep ya cant find anyplace cheaper then freds, sealed kit, open but sealed inside, gotta be quick tho, at his prices stuff moves fast, great gut to deal with too.
