I just completed the AMT 1925 Ford Model T "2 complete kits in one box", non-chopped coupe version. Paint is Testors/Boyd Pacific Blue. I enjoyed this kit, although there were some key pieces that were warped and you definitely spend most of your time cleaning up parts. As discussed in my workbench thread, I used the metal axle in the front because I was worried about rigidity. Now that I've built it, I believe I could have left it out. The suspension assembly process is really touchy, so I was happy to have the metal piece holding it together through that step.

Here are the pics:

Very nice and clean work. Just two problems... I see your model has one of those "magic floating alternators" (or in this case, generator) that is somehow held on place by magic. And the wire front axle really has to go, it's completely unrealistic and totally out of place. But your technique is solid... it's a clean model that looks very well built.

I agree that those are problems. It also lacks spark plug wires, radiator hoses, brake lines, etc. My plan was to build it straight out of the box.

Thanks for all of the feedback everyone!

I like it. I like that particular color too, wish it was still available. I liked the Boyd series of paint. Seldom see one of these booths built unchopped. Cool.

Great build except for Harry's points. And I've seen countless rods and customs as a kid in that blue which was know then as 'Earl Scheib Blue'-brings back lots of memories.

sooo clean its almost freaky :) really awsome job on the build ..

i also said it in the build thread and like harry said the front axle solution isnt the best but you know and it not ment badly :)

also if you would deside to upgrade it a bit later on with some small details such as wiring and such it would really compliment the rest ..

again awsome clean build !! also like the high roof :)
