I was walking down nicollet mall in Mpls today and a dream came true I saw this the oscar mayer wienermobile I can die a happy fullfilled life. Did anyone ever kit a version of this?

No kit but several "promotional" banks that were approximately in scale.

That thing is pretty cool. I think somewhere around my house is a small version that is attached to a keyring. One of these was parked at a hotel within walking distance of my work. They let me inside to check it out. I did take some interior pics but not sure if I still have them.

Yes, Hot Wheels did the Wienermobile, And there are a few 1/25 scale Banks available.

I have 4 of them myself.

However, as of yet, No kits have been produced.

I used to live across the street from someone that had a Wienermobile. So, I saw all I cared to see of that thing. It as always in the driveway, too big for the garage. I guess it was one that did advertising around this area.

What's better than seeing the current Wienermobile?

Go visit the Henry Ford (museum) in Dearborn, Michigan.

In their collection of "cars", they have one of the older Wienermobiles, amongst all the other neat stuff, sitting in front of a "Wiener Cafe".

Also, several years ago, I swear that I saw a "Peepmobile" on the road (you know, like the little marshmallow treats on sale during Easter).

I've never seen one parked, but I once saw one driving the other way on the NJ Turnpike. I've heard that they are manned with summer interns and hand out coupons and little Weinermobile replicas.

Product Miniatures Corporation, P M C once did a 1960's version of the Winermobile , I got one . Oh , it's pretty much close to 1-24th scale

I got a red whistle that has "scale" pedal car potential.

Their commercials were the best ever too.
