I think the bad fit of the bumper on this particular one was probably a result of a parking lot ding or something like that. Photos of others show a better fit.

My friend has one of these things, his parents bought it new. Price of this was $68,000 plus some change. It was a very nice truck when they purchased it back in 1990. even today with over 250,000 miles it still drives strong. These were originally only sold to the military and police departments before the company decided to sell to the public.
