Jon Cole Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 What on earth are you talking about? I "dragged this from the dead" because I saw the title "'50s cars that we'd hope that the manufacturers would offer", and I had something to offer! And THAT... got yer pants in a twist?I don't scan the whole post to see if there is any lingerin' butthurt. Nor should I have to."Lighten' up, Francis!" -Stripes
StevenGuthmiller Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Ugh! Here we go again! Careful guys. I don't know if you've noticed or not, but the "guest list" around here has gotten decidedly smaller since the big kahuna brought the hammer down a few months ago By the way, I agree with Scott. Don't moan about it. Either don't buy it, or fix it. Waiting around for Round 2 to change it is a lot like waiting for Chrysler to revive the Plymouth division AND bring back the '58 Belvedere. Not likely to happen guys. Steve
Richard Bartrop Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Here's something I like to do when there's a topic I'm not interested in. I don't click on it.Give it a try, and maybe it'll work for you too.
BubbaBrown Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Well I'd like to see 56 chevy bel air, newer stude than what we have , 58 and 59 plmouth and dodge's with poly engines , 51 ford (not victoria), 58 ford , 58 to 60 t-bird , and lastly a corvair ramp pick-up. I don't want anything prior to the war or after 1972. The 60's is a different story. I hope someone is listening.
Nova-ss Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 I would like to see and build most of whats been written here, especially the trucks.I don't know anything about amts 58 plymouth...but if I had it....I'd fix what I think was wrong.I want them to continue making kits for us and I'm happy with what there doing.I've always known,believe...what ever word a person wants"if you don't like it...fix it"...I was taught that.someday I mite get that kit to build or parts.I guess I never saw this thread so I read it very intetesting till the upset words started...lets get back to what its about.....Please........Chris
dartman Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 How about a tri five chevy wagon that is NOT a nomad......
Sledsel Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 I keep thinking about a '51 Merc. Just seems like a natural. We have two '49 coupes, so either the AMT, or the Revell kit could be converted. So the question is, do you think they will ever do it?Please... Not the Revell Merc. It is hideous
Sledsel Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 I'd like to see a '52 Ford Victoria.and/or a 54 Skyliner Glasstop (or Merc Sun Valley)

bismarck Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 How about a tri five chevy wagon that is NOT a nomad...... I'd second that. A panel wagon to class as a truck in junior stock drag racing!! Hydro stick with a fuelie setup... Oh yeah!!!
Xingu Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 I would like to see some fleetside pickup trucks that could be built stock or easily customized (but mainly stock). I think there are some out there, but it seems like you have to pay a premium for them.
dartman Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 I'd second that. A panel wagon to class as a truck in junior stock drag racing!! Hydro stick with a fuelie setup... Oh yeah!!! I was thinking more along the lines of a four door wagon, not all 57 wagons were nomads.
