LogTripper Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 I'm really digging the green color... would never have thought to test out the paint on plastic spoons! What a great idea!!

You'll find it's a great way to experiment cheaply on matters such as: Does this paint work over this primer or Does this clear affect this paint etc.
BKcustoms Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 I really like the green, but the blue would look great also.
Speedfreak Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Oscar, I think there is a consensus forming here because the color that jumped out at me is the green. I like all the colors, (I just love colors), but that green is special. Cool kit btw, that I've never seen before. How old is that kit?
Monty Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Oscar, I think there is a consensus forming here because the color that jumped out at me is the green. Wrong, wrong, wrong. Ray & I already arrived a consensus: the car should be blue & silver. Oscar, thanks for the names of the paints. That green is going on something of mine.
DerthDeboblo Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 Desert Sand Mica (4Q2) is NOT silver. It is light metallic tan. The Stellar Blue Pearl is code 8L7. If y'all wanted to know.

That green is going on something of mine. How about green and silver? (See folks? That's called compromise! ) I know the green is a Chrysler color, but it looks so close to Ford's legendary Dark Highland Green I've just got to give it the nod.
Jeremy Jon Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 Another kit a remember having as a kid LOL The blue would looks great IMO, maybe with some bright white stripes, or even a US flag motif?
o-man Posted December 7, 2013 Author Posted December 7, 2013 Thanks guys, ended up painting it solid green.
