cobraman Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 This is the first Heller kit I have ever built. It's a pretty nice kit. Had a few small problems but nothing more than you see in a lot of kits. This was built box stock with the only addition was the woodgrained decals that I bought on line. Cutting and fitting all those little pieces was a pain in the you know what. All comments are welcome. Thanks for looking.
Tom Geiger Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Nice job. The Heller kits are pretty nice pieces. The roof looks better on your model than it does on the box art drawings!
peekay Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Looks great! And nice to see something different - I've never seen one of these built.
PappyD340 Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Extremely NICE Ray, first time that I've seen one too, great job!!
rv1963 Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Well done, I really like the wood grain decals.
cobraman Posted November 7, 2013 Author Posted November 7, 2013 Thanks. I was lucky to find these decals. I liked working with them. I had a good time with this build. I think I will build more out of my comfort zone.
DumpyDan Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Very nice Ray, I have had one of these for years, now not many build them. I just may have to pull mine out.
cobraman Posted November 9, 2013 Author Posted November 9, 2013 Thanks Dan. Go ahead and get yours on the workbench it goes together pretty good.
Porscheman Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Excellent job Ray!!! I really like the woody part.
