I got this one off ebay. It was stripped of the Gold undercoat with Testors Metallic Red top coat. 24 hours in Purple Power and it was back to the original white plastic. It is painted Testors Wimbleton White Lacquer with 3 coats of Wet Look clear. The interior was done in red and white. The previous owner shaved all the emblems though. All an all, I'm pretty happy with it.

Oh ya! That's a 60 Mercury convertible that's just came out of the stripper and waiting for the Modelhaus's Chrome.

Thanks for looking.

Looks great Al! I've always loved the rear ends on '60 Mercs. Almost bought a 1:1 years ago, but I was young and didn't have the dough! It was like your model, white with red interior.

Thanks guys. I searched for a long time for a hard top. Then a week later I won the convertible too. I didn't appreciate these as a kid, now I get a second chance to build them the way they should be done. BTW, the conv. will be done in a light powder blue.
