cobraman Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 (edited) Just a stupid silly build to kill time waiting for parts to arrive for more serious builds. Just a one day project that hopefully will give you a laugh. Edited November 13, 2013 by cobraman
Porscheman Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Interesting build. You need more rust for Chicago though.
cobraman Posted November 13, 2013 Author Posted November 13, 2013 That would have taken me another day. : )
TooOld Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Neat little " T " but . . . those wheels !?!
cobraman Posted November 14, 2013 Author Posted November 14, 2013 Bob. Thats what is suposed to make it funny. All they had back in the day that was large wagon wheels. Remember it's a Donk.
PappyD340 Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 That's really COOOOL Ray, I like it!! that's the neat thing about modeling, don't matter if it's politicly correct or not it's still going to fly!!!
Danno Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 That's FUNNY, Ray!! Hope to see you and a wide assortment of your models at GOODGUYS 16th SOUTHWEST NATIONALS this weekend!
jrherald420 Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 LOL.......They see me ROLLIN..... nice!
metalhead Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Sadly, that isn't too far from reality. I see so many of these ridiculous looking rims on some really nice looking cars. I call them clown cars. Sorry, not trying to criticize your model. You did a wonderful job and it did put a smile on my face. RYAN.
rmvw guy Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 I'm not a big fan of "donks" and this one made me laugh out loud. You nailed it!!! The wheels never, ever, ever fit or look right IMHO. Wagon wheels? I do like the Model T. Looks like you had fun and that's what it's all about. A friend of mine did something similar with Amish buggies building them in different styles, always good for a laugh.
cobraman Posted November 16, 2013 Author Posted November 16, 2013 Thanks guys. This is what happens when you bored. Maybe the worlds first lowrider next time I'm bored. : )
Chuck Most Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Instead of chrome and murals, like on a modern donk, this one would go well with a little polished brass and a mule. (Note, I stole the "mural/mule" thing from an old Red Skelton sketch- seemed appropriate. )
