Steven Zimmerman Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Great job and great details. A few things I'm unsure about. I think those rear trailing arms might bend where you mounted the airbags, a lot of stress on a small tube,.... and I would have gusseted the rear shock mounts, and also gusseted the upper mounts for the air bags? Possibly mounted the airbags where the rear shocks are, or as close to the rear axle as possible, maybe....Just a thought....'Z'
lower99 Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Super kool! How did you peint the air intakes inside?

bpletcher55 Posted December 22, 2013 Author Posted December 22, 2013 MORE PICS ,WITH THE BODY ON ,WINDOWS ARE IN ,BRASS KNUCKLE SHIFTER,
Shardik Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 This is outstanding, Blair. The engine and chassis are beautiful, well researched and thoroughly thought out. That engine looks like you could fire it up and drive it. I love the generator wiring, except that you forgot the field wire (it should attach to the side of the generator housing near the back). Now for the "but": I think the body paint lets this build down. The metal flake looks out of scale to me. This may just be how the camera translates the finish and it may look totally awesome in person. Also, I have never been a fan of metal flake anyway, so it might just be my personal bias.
bpletcher55 Posted December 23, 2013 Author Posted December 23, 2013 THANKS FOR THE COMMENTS GUYS , JOHANN, I WILL BE ADDING MORE DETAILS SO THE FIELD WIRE SHOULD BE ADDED,AS FOR THE PAINT I THINK THERE NEEDS TO BE SOME THING TO BRAKE UP ALL THAT SILVER ? KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR THAT,
crazyrichard Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 i would even dare to say ? put a few coats of clear on that silver metallic / body .. would look sick !@@
