Wonderbread Kustomz Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Bought this kit a couple days ago .... I was really only planning of building it stock, but those that know me , know I don't do stock builds.... So after browsing pictures, I found a pretty cool rendering of one, so I wanted to build my own version... The drawing The beginning of the motor... Sanded the joint lines smooth.... The mockup... I'm unsure where the rims are from, but I believe they are from a Revell tuner kit, but since I have mostly wire wheels and the few sets of Aoshima and fujimi rims are saved for other projects, these will have to do....
slusher Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Real nice start James, you do great work. looking forward to it...
Wonderbread Kustomz Posted November 15, 2013 Author Posted November 15, 2013 Thanks Carl! A lot of people tell me I do great work, but I feel I'm just average lol... I'll be updating this sometime today... Waiting on the paint for the engine to dry...
blunc Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 wow, I had no idea that kit had such a nice looking short-shaft turbo400, I may have to dig out one of my kits to make some castings.
