jrherald420 Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Picked this up at the model show last week for a whopping 5.00 because the tires melted through the drivers side of the body. Felt bad letting it sit in the bag and let the tires destroy the body more so i opened it and built her! Painted it to match the 1970 Boss i won 2nd in class with. Had to repair the drivers side best i could, polish the out of the badly scratched glass, made a shifter for it and then BMF the window trim. Pretty fun little build!! I liked it so much i now have 2 more coming to me in the mail and maybe a 69 Chevelle and a 69 Torino. Here's some crappy cell phone pictures for all to enjoy!! Skydime Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Looks great. Last 1/43 I tried my hand at drove me nuts. It's been sitting in the box over two years.

unclescott58 Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 I love AMT's 1/43 scale kits. For their size they look great. Your repair from the one photo looks like it was successful. How did your Chevelle and Torino turn out? Scott

How did your Chevelle and Torino turn out? Scott Well the Chevelle didnt turn out so good......well it did in till the windshield went in. The windshield posts snapped and the windshield ended up covered in CA. Sucks too because i had the paint polished to a mirrored finish and the foil work came out great. I just tossed it back in the box. I have not started the Torino yet but yesterday i did build a 1/43 Ferrari F1 car, just have to decal it and i started an Airflix Ford Focus WRC.
jrherald420 Posted May 23, 2014 Author Posted May 23, 2014 Thank you. Keep an eye out tomorrow for a 1/43 Ferrari 642 F1 i will be finishing tomorrow afternoon. I only have the tire and rim decals left to do. Pretty sick little car to build.
peekay Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 Very nice job, and I would have assumed it was 1.25th had you not said otherwise.

58 Impala Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 I just got the 1/43 36 Ford, a friend of mine gave it to me. Pretty neat kit. After seeing your Mustang, I'm looking forward to building mine.
jrherald420 Posted May 25, 2014 Author Posted May 25, 2014 I have been thinking about getting that one and using the wheels from the 32 ford diecast roadster on it.
