cobraman Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Please excuse me if I brag a little here. My daughter was just notified yesterday that she passed the California Bar exam. She is now a lawyer ! I know a lot of folks don't care for lawyers and I understand that but I believe my daughter will go on to do good things for people that need help. 4 years of college and 3 years in law school. She worked long and hard for this and I could not be more proud. ( or broke ! )
1930fordpickup Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Tell her congrats form us all here ! That is a lot of work to go that far .
Ramfins59 Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Congratulations to her, and to you Ray. I'm sure that, as a good daughter who becomes a successful lawyer, she will pay you back every penny, in more ways than one.
charlie8575 Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 That's an accomplishment to be proud of, without question, especially considering California's bar exam is one of the tougher ones. I hope she does well, it's bad out there, even for lawyers, and I speak as a paralegal, in addition to all the other hats I wear. Charlie Larkin
PappyD340 Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 CONGRADULATIONS Ray and to your daughter, I know your proud and you should be as Charlie said that is quite an accomplishment in anyone's book, I hope she does well with her career!! Now you can buy more kits since you won't be paying for tuition!!!
DrKerry Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 Kudos to her. Tell her congrats from the Land of Cheese!!!!
Nxr Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 Dude that is awesome, a bright and rewarding future ahead.
Pro Wrench Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 Congrats to her and you! My daughter is one of those literal genius gifted and talented kids and graduated with her masters in business law from Harvard last year at the age of 21 and after passing the bar was promptly offered a job on the legal team for a very prominant Fortune 500 company. Thank GOD she went to school on scholarships because I'm quite sure there is no way I could have ever afforded a Harvard education.
cobraman Posted December 2, 2013 Author Posted December 2, 2013 Heading out to California later today. She gets swarn in tomorrow morning and me and the wife want to be there.
DrKerry Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 Safe travels, Wish her the best of luck from all of us KrAzIeS here!!!!!
