Just finished this today. It is my first build in many years I built this kit before and forgot how crappy the body fits on the frame other then that I love this kit. Stock box build but added Scale Motorsports carbon fiber decals. Tamiya TS 8 red and TS 29 black.

The body does not fit without trimming a couple spots to fit and it just doesn't have a very good spot to glue it down because of the crappy fitting.

No it is all plastic

Congrats on finishing this kit!! Very nice build, great detail. My daughter started on it and couldn't take the amount and size of the parts so she passed it onto me. I got as far as painting everything on the trees and then just quit. I've never really liked the look of the car and couldn't bring myself to complete it.
