Shardik Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 I just know somebody here is going to bring it full circle and build a replica of this one now. Any bets on who will be the first ?
Craig Irwin Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Someone built a "Black Widow" T a few years back too!
Daddyfink Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Neat, but, I do not like the whitewalls on it.
kingiguana Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 Very cool, but why the hemi ?????? Its a Chevy !!! And I agree the white walls don't fit the theme.

"But their intention was to build more than just a replica – this 1:1 Badman was to be a nod towards what used to be and what could be, all the while staying true to the original model." I was wondering the the same, but it's an homage to the original Badman, not an exact replica.  Edited March 1, 2018 by Casey
randx0 Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 It's cool but they lost me with the Hemi . 396 cu. in. just looks cooler in that black stripe I don't know why .

I was thinking the proportions would have to be so skewed , it would never work to be a true replica in actual reality. those whitewalls are beyond tacky.

Casey Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 Huh? The actual Badman kit still includes the 265 SBC from the original Monogram '55 Hardtop, but the Badman kit's decals say "396".
