Well we did it in Philadelphia today! We are number two! With the 4.5" recorded today, we slid into second place for the all time most snowfall. We've got 67.4" so far this year. Number one is the 2009-2010 season with 78.7" so we shouldn't beat that. And wouldn't ya know... in over 100 years of recorded snowfall, I've lived here for the two worst out of the four years I've been here!

From the Trib today:

0.1 inch at Midway Airport brought the snow total at that location to 85.3 inches — tantalizingly close to the Chicago all-time record of 89.7 inches in 1978-79.

A record that I'm very happy to let you have Harry!

Believe me, it's a record I could do without, too! And the funny thing is, I'm already getting flyers in the mail from lawn care companies. Hey... we still have snow on our lawns!

Yes, if we haven't already passed 80.

We've already passed 80 . . . it's been 83 - 85 all week, and for the upcoming week. B)

Yeah, still another 6-8 weeks or so of nice weather here...then 4-5 months of horror.

I think I'd trade our horror for your horror.

Yeah, never mind that it was flurrying on my morning commute on southbound I294.....and visibility was marginal at best.

So if we have more snow in the next couple of days, does it still count for the winter snow total? Since it it's now spring.
