bondo bill Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Here's some finished views of a '50s muscle car with a '69 Olds engine and parts that I started back in the spring. I've had lots of other projects distract me over the summer, but I finally got around to finishing her off. I removed the vent windows, B-pillar and middle grille bar. Some shocks were put into the rear end, rummaged through the parts box for the tires, and I added some Testors lacquer and foil. Otherwise, minimal changes to the build. Comments welcome!
rocklandrambler Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Very nice but does that big honkin' V8 start with that 6 volt battery??
charlie8575 Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Aside from the battery (should've added a 12-volt), an interesting idea and a very creative build. Charlie Larkin
John Pol Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Looks good I would of try to exstend those strips alittle but other else it looks good
PappyD340 Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Interesting concept indeed, it works for me, I think you did a good job on it, looks great!!
Guest Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 I like it, but as mentioned, the stripes are too short.
bondo bill Posted December 14, 2013 Author Posted December 14, 2013 thanks for all the comments guys -oops on the battery it was late i was tired grabbed the wrong one , i noticed i also forgot the wipers and side mirror- i tried longer stripes but then they started curving over the hood side etc, so i trimmed them as you see
Greg Cullinan Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Fantastic job, I think it was born to wear these colors. Makes me want to crack my 50 open for sure.
