Joker Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 This is terrific craftsmanship. I can hardly wait to see how you scratch build the Salma Hayek figure. Insert wolf whistle here ____________ ! And to think the original kits chassis was fiddly !

Skip Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Not a rat rod or neo-traditional rat (shiny rat rod) fan per se, but your work is out of the ballpark! Impressive details and techniques used to attain them, I'll be watching this one for sure. Thanks for sharing.
cuatom8 Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Not a big fan to rat style but yor work is simply amazing

Renaz Posted February 10, 2014 Author Posted February 10, 2014 Hello Guys! More progress... Painting phase. All parts for primer... Here, all properly prepared to receive the first coat of primer... All parts already primed and drying... When I applied the primer, some imperfections showed up and had to return to work since the beginning. Let's move on... The same happened with the body... Treatment, sanding, sanding and more sanding... Separation and painting ultra-glossy black all parts that will be "metallic" or receive the metallic paints. With this, we will have the most realistic painting of "metals"... And ending with the body all ready to receive its final color... Best,
Renaz Posted February 10, 2014 Author Posted February 10, 2014 (edited) Hello Guys, A little more progress on the "From Dusk Till Dawn". Some pieces I have done the work of preshading to get the final colors later ... Some details and the first metallic parts... Valve covers with Alclad Chrome. This was the first time I did... Here seats also with Alclad Chrome very lightly... Not wanted "full chroming", only a small charge for after I do the weathering and special effects... Thanks... Edited February 10, 2014 by Renaz
Renaz Posted February 10, 2014 Author Posted February 10, 2014 (edited) Hello Guys, More progress... Finished pieces! After that: "special effects", "rusty" and weathering: Here, we see details of the engine, radiator and grille shell. Below, you will see photos of painted bodywork awaiting the aging process and the "special effects"... That's it! Edited February 10, 2014 by Renaz
