TFchronos Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Welcome aboard Al and Mike. Great work again everyone, you guys are making very nice progress on your entries.
Nick Winter Posted February 9, 2014 Author Posted February 9, 2014 I apologize that I have been rather absent lately, within the next few days I'll update everything, things here at home, my grandmother and grandfather both have slid downwards and I lost my grandmother on Friday evening. Anyway I'll see if I can straighten this out and dig out my entry. Nick
Jantrix Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Nick we all understand what life throws at us. No need to apologize. It's all good. I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother. My condolences for your loss.
RodneyBad Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 (edited) Little progress. Being the fuel cell got bigger, it hangs out in the open too much. Just incase anybody wanted to push me off the road.. And if I need to push any of you little ones out of my way.. Some reshapping for the grill guard is still in the works. TFchronos Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 x4 I deepest condolences to you and your family Nick. I know how hard it is losing someone dear to you, I lost my grandmother 3 years ago.
DriftingRookie Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Got some work done on the Bel Air. I also got my airbrush up and running. Not much done on the olds and the 2 chevells. Nick I am sorry to hear about your loss. Pics to come soon.
knarf Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 i'd like to change my entry from the 79 z-28 to something a little more ambitious if i may?
JTalmage Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 I havent been able to touch my Charger for a while now. Been too busy with other things.
Lunajammer Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 I apologize that I have been rather absent lately, within the next few days I'll update everything, things here at home, my grandmother and grandfather both have slid downwards and I lost my grandmother on Friday evening. I hear ya. Sorry for your loss Nick. My mom's passing last October pretty much put an end to my 2013 entry. No biggie, it'll just get finished up another day. As far as this year's Torino, body work is done and everything's been primed. Some touch up body work needed but nothing worth posting pictures of at this time.
slantasaurus Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 No progress on the XR6, I've kinda hit a roadblock until I figure out how to build/mount the rear suspension. Trying to decide if I should modify the stock frame or just build up a completely new one from scratch. In the mean time I've been working on other projects.
Pat Minarick Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 I got a little done on my truck ,made an oil pan and got the interior fitting . And I have always hated how they used the same rear fenders and bed from the 50's or 60's on these ,so I'm trying to make them more of a match to the front .
Erik Smith Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 (edited) Chassis getting close to completion: I really like the look of newer cars with the green paint, so I went with it...lightly weathered. Engine mounted: Edited February 11, 2014 by Erik Smith
Lunajammer Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 (edited) Don't change it Eric, I love it! Put Halibrands on it and run with it. Make it an awesome, diesel punk, Cannonball retro-future racer. Edited February 11, 2014 by Lunajammer

That was from a completely unrelated post! PB kept posting the same pic no matter what code I copied. Fixed it now...
DriftingRookie Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Here is the update on the Bel Air. Body in color: The body with the baby moon rims I will be using:
Jantrix Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Ashley, what kit did those baby moons come from?
