  1. Id be interested in the Harley F150 kit, Just let me know what your looking for,.
  2. I just used the MPC/AMT Bronco kit for the body and took a AMT 92-96 F150 kit for the front clip rear 1/4 sections and interior. Haven't figured out what chassis im going to go with yet though.
  3. This is a really nice casting & a beautiful build you did. I think it would look good without the rear glass and just panels like a panel delivery van. Would make an interesting parts runner.
  4. I had gotten one of the crew cabs fords also and it was rough, I bought mine online through a person that had purchased it from Trailer Trash. So maybe it was an early run of them I'm not sure. But I've thought about ordering one direct to see if the quality is any better. As I would like to build a replica of my truck and my buddy's truck.
  5. They were not leftovers that were retagged as an 88's as a lot of people think. It was an option in 88 and was axed part way through the model year of 88. Also there were a few thousand t-top cars built in 88. The numbers were shown through some resent marti reports etc...
  6. Did you scratch build the grille or is someone offering them in resin?
  7. Bruce I believe the wheels/tires are from a jada diecast 1949 mercury ill have to look I got another one somewhere ill reply here once I find it to let ya know. To everyone else thanks for the comments. Ill keep everyone up to date on this build once I get back to it. Since ive got it out I may finish sanding and smoothing the body. I do plan on getting rid of the trim on the sides. Also plan to make it sit pretty low. Haven't decided much beyond that.
  8. Was going through some boxes tonight and come across a project I started around the time the kit was last issued which was in 03-04 I believe. Still a ways to go on it, so maybe one of these days ill finish it up. Just threw some wheels in there to have a slight mock up. But just wanted to snap a few pictures of it and share it with everyone.
  9. Well if ya can wait till 2015 Revell is coming out with a 1973 dodge ext cab.
  10. Yeah I know both people that I know of that want to buy the hellcat's my aunt & her brother, were both in yesterday picking colors, etc... So im anxious to see how it all ends up I was quite surprise that some of the colors that were available on challengers are not available this year. Reason being is I guess they are gonna phase colors in one year, out the next etc...... But I do agree I am sure Ford or GM will come out now with something bigger. Which if quite alright its been a while since we had a good muscle car shoot out of this nature.
  11. Technically dodge is bringing at the moment the highest HP production car. You are forgetting there is the cobra jet while not a production vehicle its also not 3rd party. But regardless was it ford or Chevy who peed in your Dodge cheerios before you made this post lol j/k. I work for dodge/Chrysler/Jeep/Ram as a technician I know we have 2 ppl wanting to order a hellcat. I think one will be a sure thing, they did bump up the production of them from 2000 to about 4000 cars it sounds like so a few more people may be getting one. But it sounds like its pretty limited on what dealers are going to get them. They said something about it today, but today was such a blur at work I forgot what they even said. Thought it was something like 1 in 3 dealers have a chance in ordering one or something like that ill have to ask again tom. I have to say I thought the hellcat name was kinda odd my self. To me that seems more like a name for the late 60s cougar's
  12. I wasn't sure where to ask this or who to ask. Im having problems with the site all the sudden. If I make a post and click the post button nothing happens. I have to click the more reply options and hit the add reply button from there. well then if I wanna go back and edit the post it'll let me choose edit but when I get to the part where I can edit and do what I need to do and click submit it just keeps giving me some error. so there for im unable to edit anything. any ideas??? Mike
  13. Heres most of what ive picked up over the last few months. Everything in the 2nd pic on the top shelf is part of it minus the 4runner, areomax, JD 310, & the lafrance firetruck. Also Got about 3 boxes of stuff from trades that was still boxed at the moment. Thanks for looking Mike http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v476/stang_crazy/IMG_20140713_2119061_zps4623fafa.jpg

  15. wow really?? Ive changed oil on a few of those and was able to do it even without removing the waterneck. But to have a dealership say that it just a joke. Have they not heard of alldata or Mitchell to look up the procedure on lol.
  16. To me it looks like a throw back to the 71-73 fast backs.
  17. LMAO even as a joke (as that's what its ment to be) is pretty BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH funny.
  18. Just cause some of the imports are made here means nothing. Where do you think a lot of the money goes back to? Also look into what the foreign company's pay for taxes in the US or should I say what they dont pay. Saying how crappy American cars are built?? Yes there are some crappy ones but all??? Far from it, There are just as many crappy "Import cars" made every year to. I am also a technician as a profession. Ive worked for private garages & dealerships and I have seen enough stuff that makes me shake my head. For instance a Honda Pilot that had bad universal joints on the driveshaft. Do you think the joints were able to be serviced on it heeeeeell no you had to buy the entire drive shaft. I am a big ford guy for sure but ill give credit to dodge/Chrysler & to GM they do have some good cars/trucks and some good engines to boot. But when I was working private garages I always told my coworker there that if it wasn't for GM we would be out of a job & he was a GM as that was prolly 65% of what came through the door. ( And he agreed even being a big GM guy. 20% was foreign and the other 15% ford/dodge.
  19. ill play along tonight when I get home. Mine will be more like what did I get over the last month.
