Oh my ! I won't be buying that kit. Those are about the worst wheels I think I have ever seen.

Yeah... that's the old Revell USA kit in a nice new box. Just awful. I'd probably just use the decals, which do seem nice, on the Fujimi '74 Carrera. Good luck on this one.

When I got mine and open the box and checked the tires, I new I got sucker punched

so I improvised and used the best parts to make something else, To start using wide fenders

from a tamiya 935 modyfied the body and from imsa revel mustang, got the racing wheels

and so on...this is how it end up

I recently acquired one of these kits, but it was NOWHERE near as poorly made. Even came with an extra set of tires. It's really unfortunately to see quality control like this.

I've started this kit at the exact same time.. It's bloody horrible but I'm keeping it mostly box stock and gonna try to purdy it up a little. Good luck with this!
