Randytheroadrunner Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 (edited) I don't see a way to buy one of these online. The store by me is out of stock. Edited January 15, 2014 by Randytheroadrunner
Craig Irwin Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 I don't see a way to buy one of these online. The store by me is out of stock. X2
mikemodeler Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Stopped in a Tractor Supply store, they were all out, supposedly some guy named Chuck had been in recently............. Looking good there Chuck, I will have to get one soon!
migace Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 (edited) i got one last week they were on sale still. I got the last one, these in other forms are $40-50 trucks! Also I stripped the logo off and now it looks very nice. Funny how at 12 bucks they are like half the price of a kit lol. Here is a custom International made for the auto show a few years ago. They put a MaxxForce 7 390 Cube Diesel 4 valve heads in it with a redone chassis. Edited January 16, 2014 by migace
migace Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 X2 You guys can go on Tractor Supply website and find area locations. A few phone calls and they can hold one for you. My area here in Indiana has about 5 stores. The one in my town happened to have one. As an aside they also sell some awesome 1/64 scale vehicles rarely seen like this International pick up And this Wagoneer both have great proportions and detailing
1930fordpickup Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Went back today and got the difference back from the new price.
realgone58 Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Removed the door tampos, buffed it out, and blackwashed the hub caps. Along with the larger Revell '50 Olds tires, I think it's good enough for my display case. I bought the 1:64 ones back when they released them, Johnny Lightning has been bought out by Tomy now, and no one knows whats in store for them..........hopefully we'll see more. Great line of small diecasts.
jeffs396 Posted January 17, 2014 Author Posted January 17, 2014 Looks good Al, nice & shiny How did you go about taking the logos off of the doors without damaging the paint?
realgone58 Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Looks good Al, nice & shiny How did you go about taking the logos off of the doors without damaging the paint? Carefully, with some 100% acetone on the end of a Q-tip. Then polished it out.
AzTom Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Carefully, with some 100% acetone on the end of a Q-tip. Then polished it out. Non Acetone nail polish remover works great and won't harm the paint. Please note that the nail polish remover is dated, old stuff is worthless.
Chuck Most Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Just curious- anybody know of a set of six-spoke IH cast wheels, in resin or whatever? Uptown Automotive used to sell a set, but I just e-mailed Jim Amado and he says they'll be out of production for a little while.
AzTom Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Are the ones in the Ford C cabs kits close to those wheels?
Chuck Most Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Not really. The IH wheels are six-spoke, and IH had a center cab/hub design all their own. I'm pretty sure the C-series wheels would be way too big, but I'm not totally sure. I suppose they could be used as a starting point depending on how much work you wanted to do.
Chuck Most Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 I'm bumping this, because Speedway gas stations are selling one now. It appears to be the same shade of red as the TSC trucks, but naturally has Speedway markings. It also includes an ice chest, two water bottles, a case of glass soft drink bottles, and a box.

Nice looking pickup, Chuck. Are the pieces in the bed, glued down? How much are they going for? Cheers, Lance
Chuck Most Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Parts are loose- they're held in place only by the packaging. I paid 20 bucks plus tax for it.
