A V10 Hemi would set this build even father ahead of the pack.It would be the best of both worlds a fuel injected Hemi headed V10 that would be awesome good job keep moving forward on this project I look forward to seeing this build finished

I have always hated how they used the same rear fenders and bed from the 50's or 60's on these ,so I'm trying to make them more of a match to the front .

I made an oil pan and got the interior fitting .

Great idea, that really reads right. Very slick build.

Like what you did with the rear fender. It looks like you have the inside of the bed swapped to show on the outside. Did you intend to do that?

Looking forward to seeing more.

Thanks Bob. If you are talking about the raised panels on the bed ? That is how they are. I only cut the wood floor out , and fit the stock car chassis to it.

No. What I mean is it looks like the outside of the bed side is facing out rather than in. Shouldn't outside be flat?

bobthehobbyguy

No they should be raised on the outside they had wood panels on the Lil'Red Express trucks.

There are some wood grain decals for them , not sure what to do with it yet?

Thanks. Never had that kit or seen one so I did not know about the wood.

Looking forward to more.

Nice work as usual Pat.

I really like how you added the line from the front wheel opening to the back fenders. It's attention like this that makes you're builds really stand out.
