Tony Jenkins Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 (edited) So I started this By chopping a Jungle Jim Funny car body and putting it on this pro stock chassis. Any comments or thoughts? What would you do if it was on your work bench? Scrap it or keep it? Do this, do that? what do you think? dont hold back if you dont like it, constructive criticism is appreciated. outkast1027 Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 i like it. something that small with that much motor would be a handful in real life.
slusher Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Very cool looking build, keep it going and don't scrap it. Put some glass in the front and back...
PappyD340 Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 I agree with Carl don't scrap it, I think it looks great so far!!
dragcarz Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Looks great, to me the front looks too much like the JJ funny car, maybe trim or modify the front spoiler????
cobraman Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Scrap it ?? Why would you scrap it ? Lookin' good.
tubbs Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 scrap it, bag it and send it off to me!! looks KILLER! keep on chugging along, you have my interest.... now I have to look for a jungle Jim FC body.....
Dragracer Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Looks pretty cool here Tony, the paint looks nice, if anything, making the nose section (in front of the tires) a little longer would probably look a little better, great build, don't scrap it!
bobthehobbyguy Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Definitely a keeper. Great idea. Like to see it finished. bobthehobbyguy
Bowtienutz Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Looking good, Did you save the hood? I'd almost want to put a Big Block Chevy and a modern pro stock style scoop and build it as a modern super gas drag car. What pro stock kit chassis did you use? More pics of the mods you made to make it work.
Dragfreak Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 looks killer, I never would have thought of doing that!
rage59 Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 that is one nice looking car keep going with it
Jim3 Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Cool ideal.. Did you do anything to the chassis & cage (width& height) for the body to fit ? Looks sweet !
VEGADETH Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 I,m with dragracer on this one,in extending the front nose , i have one in the works as well,i have no camera right now or I would send a pic your way,i really like it !!
