Daddyfink Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 I can't remember if I posted this here before, so, here it is again if I didn't and sorry for the double post if I did! This little beast is pain the rear! The bed is glued permanently to the frame. I used the engine out of the Revell 40 Ford, wheels from the Revell 65 Chevy Pick up and the paint is Testors Inca Gold. Hope you like it!
slusher Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Great color and build Jesse, nice touch on the engine and wheels. I have one of these to build, I know there a pain...
rmvw guy Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 The end product looks pretty painless, nice job. Yep, I like it!
Daddyfink Posted January 21, 2014 Author Posted January 21, 2014 Thanks guys. This one came pretty close to being a missle shot across the garage a few times. Glad you like it!
o-man Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Turned out great considering the issues I've heard this kit has.
Silver Foxx Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Real nice looker , and the paint really suits this , well done .
Skydime Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 (edited) That's not just making the most of a crappy kit. That's making a crappy kit look like it was tooled to today's standards! Really, Really nice job on this Effie, Jesse. Edited January 22, 2014 by Skydime
JTalmage Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 I have this old kit, built it years ago. originally had the supercharged motor in it I think? I would like to redo it but I've got soo many to do. Looks good!
