FLD120 Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Took the reissue White Freightliner COE and made into a day cab. The trailer is AMT's flat bed trailer and converted it to a spread axle. Resin two hole buds on tractor drives and five hole buds on trailer. Added Freightliner air ride from the Italeri FLC kit. Trailer is plumbed with air lines. 1

1959scudetto Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Thanks guys! The old school trucks are the best looking for sure.Absolutely - nothing beats the old trucks - yours is the best example.
Plastheniker Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Looks really good and more interesting than the sleeper. What about some larger pictures of the tractor?
FLD120 Posted January 24, 2014 Author Posted January 24, 2014 Jurgen, I can get some more up there of the tractor. I plan on adding a tool box between the tandems on the trailer and a headache rack to the tractor. But in the meantime I will add a couple of more. There are some areas that need to be finished up. When the items arrive that I want to add then I will finish it up and re-post an updated set of pictures.
tbill Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 nice builds, both the truck and trailer look fabulous, well done.
FLD120 Posted January 25, 2014 Author Posted January 25, 2014 This is my first day cab conversion and I was worried about how it would turn out. This kit is kind of funny, they include the back windows in the kit but no reference points on the back panel to cut out and install the windows.
