Agent G Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Some of you Arizona folks have met the little guy and have seen just how into this hobby he is. Well I'm real proud of him for the time, energy and all around work he put into this older kit. The paint colors are his choice, it's his build after all, and other than direction he sprayed and brushed everything himself. I did however hold the paintstand (beerbottle) during the body painting. Went to work with red paint all over my left hand and arm. Decals were applied in one long session pre stupidbowl yesterday. Some parts were left over, he said it just makes the car go faster. G
Danno Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Good job! Hey, G, watch your mirror. He'll be gaining on you!! Be sure to plan on bringing it to Desert Scale Classic 10 this year!

Silver Foxx Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Real nice first time build , he should be proud of this .
Danno Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Hey, G. I seem to recall your granddaughter picking up a couple of kits last fall, too. When do we get to see her first build?
Agent G Posted February 7, 2014 Author Posted February 7, 2014 The Vette is painted black and curing as we speak. She's debating the colors on the 49 Merc too. She's interested in building one of those old Revell Caprice copcars so I might just turn her loose on one of those too. She'll be posting finished pics soon enough! G
Danno Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Cool! Thanks for the update. Looking forward to seeing more from both of them! (Bring their builds with you to Desert Scale Classic.)
