RandyB. Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 (edited) Well this is the fourth restoration in a series that I will be doing. I am very pleased with this restoration and feel that this is the most dramatic change of the previous three. BMF was applied over the silver trim paint and white lettered tire decals added courtesy of Fireball Modelworks. Have a look and see what you think. Before After Edited February 6, 2014 by RandyB.
High octane Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 It's lookin' good and you know me, I just love dem Mopars!
Harry P. Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 So what exactly is it that you "restored?" To be honest, the "before" model looks pretty good to me. I guess I'm confused by your calling this a "restoration." Is it a diecast that you added the white letter tire decals to? Don't mean to be dense, I just want to understand what it is that you "restored."
CJ1971 Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 I agree with Harry.... I guess it's more of a re-fresh than a restoration :-) It's a sweet Charger before & after either way, Randy.

I call it a restoration because I'm going through some of my old builds and fixing them up. Some require more extensive restoration...if you will, than others. That includes taking the engine out ( if needed ) and painting it the correct factory colours. All of them will get BMF treatment and a polish. I don't want to get to picky on the term "restoration".....to me fixing them up is a restoration. On this particular model I added white lettered tire decals to the generic Revell tires. Hope this clears some of the confusion up. Edited February 7, 2014 by RandyB.
JTalmage Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Looks fantastic. I'd call it more of a detail.
