cobraman Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 My take on the Revell Willys kit. The paint is Krylon Short Cuts Turquoise with Short Cuts clear. Parts box decals. PE door handles inside interior. Masking tape seat belts. Some chrome has been removed and some sprayed with Dullcoat. Simple engine wiring. BMF on the side trim. Forgot what a cool kit these are. Easy to build and look pretty good when done.... even mine I think . : )
slusher Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Beautiful model Ray. Amazing paint finish...
Mister Twister Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Great looking build...Nice color combo.
PappyD340 Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 FANTASTIC build Ray, well done, love the color!!
Dave42 Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Looks great. I like the color and how you carried the Blue theme through with the wires, rearend, and shocks. Nice!
6bblbird Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 So many of these have been built. Not many as nice as this one. That color looks terrific. WF
majel Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Nice looking Willys, paint job came out great. VERY cool model!!
geetee66 Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 That shade of blue looks really good on it. You did a great job. Clean and well finished. The de-chroming and dullcote work well. I MUST get one of these. I have the pickup version, but the smooth body lines on this look a real joy to polish!
cobraman Posted February 11, 2014 Author Posted February 11, 2014 Thanks everyone. This really is a nice kit to work with.
