RandyB. Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 (edited) Just have three mopars to do after this one and my mopar upgrade will be complete. This was a very simple upgrade as well except I didn't realize how BMF was required to do this one until after I got started. I'm amazed at how much brightwork adorned the '69 Barracuda's. I swapped out the BF Goodrich TA radials for a narrower blackwall tire. I had to use a spacer on the front wheels to bring the wheel out a little farther...back wheels were okay. Polished it out a reshot some photos. Before After Edited February 12, 2014 by RandyB.
John Goschke Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Really sharp car. Looks much better without the white letter tires.
Peter Lombardo Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Very nice looking build... I love the bright yellow on it with the black stripes.....but I have always been a fan of Raised White Letter tires (I loved the look of the late 60's and early 70's road pounders) Oh, well. I had them on my Camaro and Mustang,
the goon Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Cool. Another one of my favorite cars. Mark
slusher Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Nice choice on the tires Randy, beautiful model..
FASTBACK340 Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 NICE JOB!!! Your `69 looks great Randy. The recall wheels are a nice touch. You also did a good job on the tail panel, which can be a challenge.
RandyB. Posted February 12, 2014 Author Posted February 12, 2014 Thanks guys. Next up will be my 1971 Plymouth Duster. I'll start the foiling tonight....hopefully.
