Scale-Master Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 Quickie rework of an old promo I had sitting around collecting dust. Bone stock except for replacing the missing wheels and tires and adding the 1973 issue CA plate (from my real 73). Fun diversion from the bigger project, plus I was in the mood to paint something shiny. WIP Thread: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=85861
Ron Hamilton Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 Very Nice. I can only hope that mine looks half as nice when I finish it.
Faust Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 Awesome! So much better than just sitting there as a dust magnet! As always, Firebirds never fail to look good; your work on it though makes this one great! Beautiful work.
Scuderia Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 Love that era firebird and you did great with the cleanup
mnwildpunk Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 This era firebird looked so much better then the camaro of the same period up until they went to square headlights imo
Hard_2_Handle_454 Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 I like it. My best friend has a black 96 Formula
am73grand Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 This came out really nice!! Superb job!!!!
Scale-Master Posted February 22, 2014 Author Posted February 22, 2014 Thanks guys! Mirrors? Quickie rework of an old promo. Promos by nature are simplified versions of their kit counterparts.
