Scottnkat Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 This is my build of the MPC 1932 Chrysler Imperial. I broke my wrist in the middle of the build and pretty much lost the use of that hand, so I didn't get done all that I wanted (such as changing the bumpers to be 1933 versions and hinging the hood). I did replace the too-short tie rod with some brass rod, started plumbing the engine, filled in the missing part of the floor, and opened up the horns. Anyway, on to the pics: Both the rumble seat and the golf bag door open Here's the engine
Harry P. Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Very nice! But I don't think the running boards were painted body color.
Danno Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Beautiful. Hate to say it, but Harry's right. The ribbed inserts of the running boards should be satin black.
bbowser Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Great model Scott. I recently got this one, hope it comes out half as nice!
mnwildpunk Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 I like mopars and the older the better imo great job. You build pretty darn good one handed
