Porscheman Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 (edited) Here's another AMT 60 Merc restoration. Started out with a blue gluebomb and ending up with a Tamiya black with red and black interior. Let me know what you think. Al Edited March 2, 2014 by Porscheman
Chris White Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 I got to say Al, you build some nice stuff. I always look forward to seeing them
Speedfreak Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 From what I can see it looks like a great save Al, maybe some shots in the sun? Whenever that happens again
Porscheman Posted March 2, 2014 Author Posted March 2, 2014 Thanks everyone for the nice comments and sorry for the dark pictures. If it only stop snowing for more than a day, I could get some better outside shots. Here's a couple taken on my slot car track with better lighting. Al
peekay Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Beautifully finished model of one of my favourite 60s cars.
Porscheman Posted March 2, 2014 Author Posted March 2, 2014 (edited) Thanks guy.. this was in very poor condition when I got it. But I like the way it came out. Al Edited March 2, 2014 by Porscheman
charlie8575 Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 maybe some shots in the sun? Whenever that happens again Yeah, tell me about it. I'd be happy with a week at normal temperatures instead of 6-8 degrees below. Al- another beauty. Charlie Larkin
6bblbird Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Nice job once again Al, but I want to see more of that slot car track! WF

bbowser Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 She's a looker. Can't wait to see what you do with a '65!
Ron Hamilton Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Al, That is so sweet. I have a thing for 1960 cars, especially big convertibles. I have a Merc, a Connie, T-Bird, and an Edsel to restore to a new glory. I would love to get my hands on a '60 Olds 98, Dodge Matador, and a Plymouth Fury, and my collection will be complete. I love your work.
